Object Description
"In a world made mysterious by darkness, two objests keep vigil: a dish antenna aimed at the stars, and an all-night gas station and convenience store." --Van Jones. Part 5-B of Sky Temple Suite consisting of six triptychs representing the six lights of day (morning, noon, afternoon, dusk, night, dawn). Scene depicts architectural structure with circular window with bars in the middle, satellite dish on top of mountain aimed at stars and moon in center. Drawing on Arches 140 lb. cold press watercolor paper. Night, 5-B, triptych to be hung with 1991.040 and 1991.042.
