Object Description
"The sun rises on a tranquil scene of nature tamed." --Van Jones. Part 6-A of Sky Temple Suite consisting of six triptychs and nine studies representing the six lights of day (morning, noon, afternoon, dusk, night, dawn). Scene depicts column at left, landscape, mountains, Blue Top Court, one car parked at court, antenna on top of mountain, highway, more mountains. Drawing on Arches 140 lb. cold press watercolor paper. Dawn, 6-A, triptych to be hung with 1991.044 and 1991.045.
