Object Description
Brown pot with blue crystalline bursts. Glaze: Zinc crystalline type which requires a special firing with carefully controlled cooling so the crystals have time to grow. The colorant is nickel oxide. The difference in color between the ground and the crystals is due to chemical differ- ences, the crystals having a much higher concentration of zinc than the rest of the glaze.
