Object Description
Large tripod deep plate (Tepeu phase, lowland Maya, could be Mexico or Guatemala) Light orange background with dark orange, red and black designs. Large water bird (heron?) fills tondra; rim alternating panels (two priests, rosettes, net-like areas, etc.) Restored, but all original. Gross No. 296 MM
