Object Description
"Curly Face Deity" brown clay tripod cylinder vase. Vase flares slightly at top, sculptured panels, one on each side, are of central mask surrounded by schrollwork, etc. Knop-like decora- tion around base; slab feet are press-molded with floral design. Handsome piece. "Teotihuacanoid" style but Maya piece from Escuintea, Guatemala, coastal plain. Gross No. 260 GM
